Have you read the two previous blog articles on Streamlit and Flask? The first two are flush with enthusiasm for Streamlit because of ease deploying internally our ML and DL apps.

If you have, you might perceive that I agree with you in this blog.

The blog is story of an organization who learned a few lessons by being early-adopters of Streamlit.

I also agree with you —in the sense that they are two different approaches to the same need.

However, I think we were wrong at the beginning. We now think, currently, Streamlit and Flask are two different approaches to two different needs.

Streamlit is newer and designed to be closed. Flask is older, designed to be open.

We are waiting for future releases of Streamlit to be full-life cycle competitive with Flask.
